Double Bass '53 Epiphone B4 value?

Hi, I've been holding onto several instruments hoping I'd be able to play them again (left hand nerve damage). Enough years have passed to make it clear that I won't be playing any double bass again. What's a reasonable price for the pictured Epi?

It sounds like it should, has a great action, the pictured neck repair is rock solid (hasn't moved in 10 years), etc. I'm 100% confident that it could be successfully gigged right now and that it will last another 70 years if properly cared for. Thanks!

PS, I should have said that's it's hard to date these with 100% accuracy. It's either a '52, '53, or a '54.

That is a nice looking bass.

Epiphone prices tend to be all over the place. People who know them and are looking sometimes pay up to around $3400 top end and they get advertised higher but..... It is much more common to see them actually selling for closer to $2k mainly because they do not have as much brand recognition. The entire bass selling market seems to be a bit soft right now.
