6 string bridge for 5 string neck

I was watching an interview with john myung's bass tech. The tech mentioned that the music man bongo's he used were basically 5 string models with a custom 6 string head stock, bridge and nut. This was done to get the strings closer together and so the neck wasn't as much of a "boat oar" as he put it.

Anyone know of a 6 string that is set up like this already or of a bridge company making one?

Thanks,
C

Mostly those things are only done on custom order. Although I think that the headstock, bridge and nut are just shrunken like the neck so they could match the 5 string neck that it must be something like 16.5 mm string spacing or a bit narrower...
