6 strings or 5?

I've had them all and I'm back to a 4. Between 5 and 6 is, of course, player preference and need. I found I didn't need a 6. I then found I don't really need a 5.

I like my Spectorcore 5. I also liked the Hohner b2av. Two completely different sounds, I liked the Hohner's J style pups. Spector has a soapbar and a piezo. Both are in your price range.
