I have googled this to no avail, so a question for the vintage Fender experts. Did Fender do any Pre-Cbs Precisions with a Rosewood board but a skunk stripe? I'm out in Australia and '64 came up for sale but I'd never heard of such a thing. It certainly looked authentic in every other way and was certainly carrying a vintage price. Unfortunately it's since been removed from marketplace (or sold) so I don't have any pictures.
