I just posted earlier today about the LA-2A pedal I bought as part of this. It's great - if you set it right, it just makes everything sound better. I also have an Empress Bass Compressor, and I use the LA-2A just as much. Both great, just very different since the Empress is a FET, and the LA-2A emulates an optical.
