Indeed. The classic single coil dressed up to look like a humbucker. Wind it to @ 8 to 9 kohms with standard 42AWG wire, use 250 kohm pots, and it should sound pretty good. The bass I started playing on in school, in the summer of 1976, which was owned by the school, was a Ventura P-copy bass with a J-width nut and that same pickup. The good thing is it really got me to playing bass.Photos of the pickup in question...THANKS
