'72 Precision body, '07 or '08 Mex neck?

After some consideration, I'm thinking of the formerly unthinkable: replacing the (fat, uncomfortable) neck of my 1972 Precision with the (thinner, comfortable) neck of my '07 or '08 Mexican Jazz.

Any thoughts, experiences, advice - pro or con?

I would not replace the original '72 neck with a mexican one.

Would you replace at all? Not financially feasible to shop for similar vintage neck.

I love the neck on my 74 P, but If you like the Jazz neck, if you already own the Jazz you can always change it back if you decide you don't like it.

I see no issue, If you where're drilling the 70s neck to fit the Mexican body that would be a whole different story
