76 Grabber

This is my modded Grabber. It has a Nordstrand big blademan in the slider.
In order to do it I had to build a new pick guard and slider plate so the pickup would fit. The body cavity under it also had to be routed out. The pickup has a longer travel fore and aft than stock. This has a active 3 band onboard. Its a killer set up.
Put a bad ass II bridge on. Painted midnight pearl looks black but its not along with headstock and custom made Gibson logo and marker dots in prizmatic color shift vinal and clear coated in. I really like this one . It was given to me many years ago by a friend I helped get moved many moons ago

I’d love to get one someday; I love the idea of getting different sounds thru pickup placement as opposed to thru processing - kind of like in a studio, so much can be adjusted just thru mic placement.

I know there are naysayers who think it’s gimmicky, but I’d love to try for myself...
