'77 Jazz Bass - Real or fake?

This one is a bit intriguing... What ya'll think?

Legit sienna burst '82-83 Fender Jazz Bass. The bridge is not original. They used the s78-79 serial numbers in '80' '81, '82 and even some '83 p and j basses have s78-79 ser. no. at the headstock as well. Also they switched to white pu covers and strat knobs back in 1982.

Usually - it is interesting that it has a dot & bound maple neck. Works well with the overall look.

Had an 1981 Precision from this era. 100%.
Same Cherryburst, white pickup covers, no thumbrest (no holes in Pickguard and Body) and ash heavy.

That Jazz with the white pup covers is from around 1980. The finish was called Sienna Sunburst.

Don't think the bridge is original, looking at it on my moby.
