$785 for a 1965 Jazz Bass

If this is the real Deal I think you better grab it!!!,Go to Fender.com Vintage section check SN,look at the Pot #,See if there is a Neck stamp!

That thing looks like a complete refin and not a great job. Probably worth close to asking price. Even missing the logo. First thing I would do is take the neck off and look for dates. No dates, not worth your time.

Yeah, the add says it is a refin, and a mistake, but everything else is original.

I would want more info. before buying any bass especially a vintage Jazz. It also looks like the headstock logo has been marked out, possible red flag.

Just before I sent an email with my contact info to go and pick it up, I decided to google the serial number. It's a scam, he even ripped off the photos from the ebay auction that it just sold in. Man these con artists are getting more and more lazy.

Yep, those are the same pics! Listed on Ebay for sale out of Oregon for $4500, now on CL in Kansas City for $785. I smell a scam! I decided to play along and replied to the CL ad. I told him that if he had proof that it is a 1965 I would like to come look at it asap. Wonder if I will get a reply?
