7ender JBD62 questions

Recently I purchased this beauty. Being curious as I am I screwed off the neck. In the pocket was a code stamped. It says "JBD-62L/EX". It's serial nr. is T005***, MIJ.

My question is: What implements this code?

There are similar stamps in the neck pocket of all MIJ/CIJ instruments. I'm not sure what all the letters mean or at what point in the manufacturing process they're stamped, but the parts that make sense to me are...

"JB" - Jazz Bass
"62" - '62 Reissue
"L" - Left-handed

Based on a "T00..." serial number, it was made in '94-'95.

What you have is a MIJ Fender '62RI Jazz Bass.

Nice bass, by the way! :)
