8" inch replacement speaker for bass amp?

And he'd want to use a midrange driver why???
The GB30 is only 6 watts - I have one
All the more reason to use a driver with high enough sensitivity to be heard.
The Eminence Alpha 8 and Beta 8 are also contenders, especially for a very low power rig.

It's a cheap bedroom practice amp - I have a 8" car sub in mine and it's fun to play though. If I wasn't so lazy I'd find the original driver and mail it off to the OP :hmm: .

sorry so late "seismic audio,richter-8" gets it done.
I had an gb30 when I was 16 damn thing caught fire during a jam
so I couldn't play. went to get beer and met the love of my life
but she just met me and didn't stay too long so I got a bigger amp
and a lot more beer!
