8" inch replacement speaker for bass amp?

can anyone recommend a good 8" replacement speaker for an old Gorilla GB-30?
it's been harder that crap to try to find a full range 8 inch bass amp speaker!
i know "full-range" 8 inch is pretty ridiculous-sounding....
any help?

nope. i'm trying to find a replacement for a buddy of mine, so it's just an empty combo.

I doubt that driver would last even as long as the price indicates that it would. This one is probably the best bet:

The Eminence Alpha 8 and Beta 8 are also contenders, especially for a very low power rig.

The Alpha-8 will work. Incidentally, I put two of the ST210-8's in a vertical, ported cab a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. The box was about the size of the Ampeg 210AV. Loud and low, but very heavy. 3/4 birch and big magnets, it adds up fast.

It's a cheap bedroom practice amp - I have a 8" car sub in mine and it's fun to play though. If I wasn't so lazy I'd find the original driver and mail it off to the OP .

sorry so late "seismic audio,richter-8" gets it done.
I had an gb30 when I was 16 damn thing caught fire during a jam
so I couldn't play. went to get beer and met the love of my life
but she just met me and didn't stay too long so I got a bigger amp
and a lot more beer!
