800-1000 watt stack?

what are some good stacks around that wattage? i dont really know much about amps that size...

The SWR SM-900 is a great amp, and you can pair it with numerous cabinet combos. I ran mine with an Eden 4x10, and then with an Aguilar 2x10 + 2x12. It would also go well with a 6x10 or 8x10, or two 4x10s.

"Stack" usually refers to speakers. You mean a separate amp head, not a combo? I personally prefer a separate preamp and power amp.
