My local store is selling it at 1.6 k I told him that it should be 1.1 k and he reckons it's a mim version ? And this is a pj bass right ? Does it have a p neck ?

Any other basses you recommend ?
Thx

I played a MIA Fender P/J as my #1 from 1999 until this year. I bought a Spector Euro 4LX and it became my #1 in about twenty minutes. Fat, growly P/J tone with a versatile eq and neck-through construction. You could easily find one used within your budget.

All the basses you're considering are good. The best Jazz I've played was a MIM Classic 60's, so don't worry about country of origin, but does that individual instrument sound and feel right. Can't go wrong with a Stingray, either, if you dig the humbucker sound.

Have you given all the contenders a demo?

I like the sting ray but don't feel to confident about buying second hand I liked the sound but they only had a 5 string so I couldn't really count . I tried a standard precision ( not sure mim or Mia ) and it felt and sounded amazing ! the reggie Hamilton I haven't tried .. I hate jazz necks ! I only want a bass with a neck like the p basses . The standard precision that I tried was 850 usd . Is the mim around that price ?
