Ok so it's here finally, its pretty damn good.
It's one of the early 88/89 models I think with the LM308 chip that is the better one and is still the first thing Keeley does to your pedal when he mods it.

I mess around with the gain and the filter knob i liked them both at 3 o clock and the volume at 12 o clock seemed to work alright.
It does lose low end, but you don't really notice till you use something that doesn't
I found it kinda similar to my Tone Factor Fuzz Saw when the gain was up high so I did a comparison soundclip using an A/B loop box so I can switch between pedals. The Fuzz Saw has a better low end and the Rat has a better high end I'd love to try blending them together in a Boss LS-2 and hopefully getting the best of both worlds.

I think this will work well in my noise stuff and jamming as it sounds like a guitar when played in the right style but I can't see it beating anything off my band board but I didn't think it would anyway.
