810 wiring options

What you be the best way to wire an 810 cab?
8 x 8ohm = 4ohm

4 sets of 2 wired in series then all 4 wired in parallel
or
2 sets of 4 wired in parallel then both wired in series

or does it even matter as long as it equals 4 ohms??

Thanks

Technically, it doesn't matter. Both come to 4 ohms.

However, if one speaker fails (breaks the circuit) -

The first wiring solution will end up presenting an impedance of 5.33 ohms with 6 speakers working - all receiving the same power
The second wiring solution will end up presenting an impedance 4.67 ohms with 7 speakers working - with 3 cones receiving 1.78 times as much power as the others
