Killer 97 Warwick Streamer LX 4 in a beautiful Amber finish. I'm probably going to regret this but I just bought a few pieces of non bass related gear and need to recoup some cash. Bass is in excellent condition minus a finish ding by the G side of the neck (see photos) some finish scratches on the back of the bass that are really hard to capture in photos ( you have to look at the bass in the light on an angle to see them but they are there. Looks like very light buckle rash that could probably be buffed out if someone wanted to) and a slight ding on the top corner of the headstock. Otherwise the bass is in extremely good shape, especially for a 24 year old instrument. The frets show barely any sign of use, no pitting anywhere. The truss rod works as it should and the slim wenge neck plays fantastic. Action is nice and low with zero buzz anywhere. The electronics have been upgraded to an awesome set of Delano pickups with an EMG BTC 2 band preamp that has an active tone knob. Contols are master volume, pickup blend, active tone control and stacked bass & treble. No active/passive switch. I bought the bass with these electronics so I do not have the original MEC's. I did have a 2018 Masterbuilt Streamer LX and these electronics are far better in my opinion than the MEC's. It still retains the awesome Warwick growl and modern tone but is punchier, has deeper lows and a crystal clear top end. Honestly this bass is just as nice as the 2018 Masterbuilt bass for far less than those basses are going for. It actually feels exactly the same, neck profile and everything. I changed all the gold hardware to brand new black Warwick hardware with Hipshot o-ring knobs. I do have the orginal gold hardware that will be included in the sale. Bass has a fresh set of Dunlop Super Bright nickle strings and will come shipped in a Warwick hardshell case. According to the old bathroom scale bass weighs exactly 9lbs. Of course that could go either way since the bathroom scale isn't exact but it's definitely not a boat anchor. The bass is a little darker than the pictures. I tried to capture an accurate color but it's hard to get in a photo.
