It has four strings!
(Well somebody had to start the silliness!)
paging @Gard ...
I've seen some early, early Roscoes with that style headstock.
It is a really nice mahogany body, quilt maple top Roscoe LG with Bart electronics, weight is sweet balances nicely on the strap and has one of the fastest necks that I have ever played.
Hows that?
BTW - Welcome to TalkBass !
I have two Roscoes & love them both.
Selling off everything else...
I am waiting to receive it this next week. I have bought it and I can't find information about that old bass.
It is a really cool bass, I bought it from Bass Direct a little while back but returned it around a week later. I was always wanting for a lightweight Precision bass and found one that I really liked.
I kind of wish I had kept it as I have never played a bass that was so easy to play as that Roscoe.
The neck is just insanely fast, I compared it to some new Roscoes and they were really quite thick in comparison.
I hope you enjoy the bass, it has a new set of DR Sunbeams fitted and the action is on the deck
You might want to check the neck pocket to see if there are any passive aggressive notes.
