Recently I sat in a workshop with the Dap Kings. They were explaining the three M's of gigs:
Mates (meaning people you like to play with)
Music (meaning music you like to play)
Money
So if two of the three are good it is a good gig. All three is great. And the first two are weighted much more heavily than the money (at least IMHO).
Sounds like this scored high points on at least two of the three.
