A high C flatwound that matches the rest of a 6 string set

Can anyone recommend a set of flats that has a high C that matches the rest of the set? I've been told that a high C will always be brighter than the rest of the set, and that's been my limited experience for sure. Trying to find a set that may be the exception to the rule. Thanks

Personally I have no experience with C strings in the sets mentioned because I don't own a 6 stringer. Just piping up about what sets are out there. I'm sure those with experience with a C string will chime in

Circling back to my own thread….I've been wanting to try GHS Precision Flats on my 6 string bass….put some on recently and it has the most integrated high C string that I've personally heard from flats. I'm still getting used to the strings themselves, and I may go back to LaBella flats…but these strings are extremely well balanced (I got the 4 string light set and added the C and low B)…and the high C doesn't have the brighter character that I'm used to from a flatwound C. Very cool!

I have to admit that they are very much growing on me! As the high end recedes the mid range has come forward...the mids were lacking at first, but they're sounding great now! The C is far more integrated with the other strings than my prior experience with flats.

TI's are great! I can't use them on my headless unfortunately, but they do have an integrated C string for sure!

I never fell in love with the Precision Flats...I put the Pressurewounds back on my headless, and they're so much better. Still nice and warm but also super punchy. Great strings on that bass
