A Little Advice?

Iv'e played classical guitar for about two years, and took about a year of theory,(I'm not an expert at theory but know the basics)
and just recently switched to bass.

I'd say I have been playing bass on aregular basis for about two weeks. I gotta say it is easy to get the hang of.

Any advice on what sort of techniques I should look into would really be awsome.

I have the same story as you, epitaph,
I also played classic guitar like two years, but then i realized
I liked more low sounds and I started to play bass like a year ago and I can give you this tips:
First, start playing with a pick, it's more easier, play all the time you can to get resistance, if you don't, you will get tired very easely.
Start playing punk, it is the easiest music you can play.
Then play some ska songs so you can get some quickly moving in your left fingers.
Then play with the fingers, play until the strings feel familiar.
Tahts all the advice I can give you.
