A question for all the Stingray guys/gals out there

View attachment 4923111 I've got a whole bunch of them and they are all different in some slight way. Sure I could get by with just one but I've loved the look of them since I first started playing 43 years ago. Still the most comfortable (for me) basses made.
Two years ago I had no plans of getting any Stingrays that year and ended up with 4 because they just kept cranking out amazing work that year.
I'm hoping for a sparkle emerald green with ebony board this year

Ive been hoping for that one since you first posted it a while back.

I have never had that problem in 25 years owned many SR5's.

SR5s have a fairly narrow (more narrow?) string spacing. Some folks adjust to it, some folks adjust to it, some don't.

There's no badges of honor if one does adjust (or if there is, I haven't received mine yet!….).
Nor are there demerits and penalties if one does not or cannot adjust…..

That short scale is so sweet. I've looked at them on the EBMM site so many times.
