A question for the LaBella experts

Hi,

does anyone have an idea how old this set of strings could be? I guess they were made in the 70's but I have absolutely no clou.

They have silk on both ends which the newer LaBella Flats don't have.



I found them a couple of years ago on the flea market, put them in my string box ...and forget them.

Labella moved from Long Island City to Newburgh in 1981, so these must be at least that old.

Whoa! What a cool find. Finding those and resisting the urge to try them out is like being a kid and resisting the urge to take a collectable toy out of the box and play with it.

Hard to tell since they used that packaging from the early 60's into the mid 70s. I've got a new unused set identical to them. Very cool.

;-) yes, I tried each set of the Deep Talkin (and many more) and found my peace with the '49 on a P. No need to change that.
