I was just watching a local game show and the following happened: Host: "Who made the song 'Enter Sandman'?" Candidate 1: "Nirvana!" Host: "Wrong! The turn passes to candidate 2" Candidate 2: "No, I'm sure the answer is Nirvana!" ....
IMO the greatest insult is that a question about Metallica or Nivarna(intentional misspelling that's how Butthead pronounces it)is regular fare on a game show. If a typical GS contestant knows much about any band, that band must be pretty much irrelevant, don't you think?
Candidate 2...hello? Unless the moderator can't read his cue card, "Nirvana" is WRONG. This has less to do with pop music knowledge than sheer lack of common sense.
It's called "Blokken". The contestants answer questions and drop tetris blocks into a field to score points. It's presented with the world's most painfully unfunny guy.
Since you asked for a clip, you must speak Belgian. Here ya go. Please let us know what parts are funny/not funny.
If you have just turned 18, IIRC you wouldn't have been alive when that song was released and barely alive when Nivana was big. Now they are popular bands, but its not hard to imagine someone not knowing. Given this is a music related website I think the fail would be higher if soemone on TB didn't know.
In that case, I fail - I didn't know the answer. I'm no Metallica fan, obviously. I wouldn't have said Nirvana after candidate 1, though.
