It's still a tropical storm right now, but by time it hits tomorrow it could very well be a low-grade hurricane.
It's supposed to hit a very vague "somewhere between the coast of Texas and Louisiana" but the current projected path should hit somewhere in my area. Given it's low grade nature, I seriously doubt anything bad will come of this (we've certainly gone through worse here, and unlike New Orleans we're above sea level), but I wouldn't be surprised if the power gets knocked out at some point.
Think I may go buy some cheap beer this evening before the storm hits. Could be a fun night!
