I'm thinking of picking this up, the seller hasn't responded to my question about it being an overseas model or a west German one. Anyone with a good eye can pick something out of those pictures, I tried my best.

I'm fairly certain it is not a rockbass, it looks like it's a streamer std. which i do believe are actually made in Germany. The streamer stds have a different bridge than the regular german wicks too. I have never played so i can't attest to it's greatness but it's a warwick so it's gotta be good!

Looks like a German-made streamer standard. The Rockbass would have a maple neck.

Yep, looks like a German made Warwick. Those Streamers came with a 1 piece bridge. I`ve had the chance to play one of those last year, and didn`t like it much.

I have a Streamer standard, and it is my main axe. However I also put in some EMG pickups

I would ask him for some close-up pictures because it is hard to tell the condition with those tiny ones.

they are very good and german, the rockbass streamer standards have maple necks and say ROCKBASS in big letters on the head, $375 isnt a bad price for 1 either, and they do play very well and sound good.

Have a look at it first. It would be a good deal if it's mint. I see the Streamer Standards on eBay all the time for that price and less, do some research before you jump on it.

that looks like a production (mass produced) warwick.

I own a '94 and owned a '95, both corvettes.

That streamer appears to have the plastic nut, which means it is after they went into mass production mode.
post '96 (?). But it appears to have the wenge fretboard/neck combo, which they don't offer anymore, & only did for a short while after the mass producing began.

I know they don't play quite as well as the pre-production models, but for that price...I don't really think you can go wrong.
