about me/ need help with buying my first bass

well im patrick. 17 live in athens georgia (home of pylon, b-52s, REM)..... ive had my hands on drum sticks since a young age but never any drums. because no room in my house. so i use a practice pad. and ive been inrested in bass for awhile now..... and i planing on buying a bass soon, and im short on money, and im look at a rouge on musician's friend website....... so yeah thats me
music influences, hendrix, pink floyd, kiss, ac/dc, aerosmith, random country, beatles, and above all red hot chili peppers. flea rules all!
