About to Purchase an Acoustic 360 Preamp, need recommendations on a Cab

Hey guys,

So I've been doing lots of reading on the 360 amp head and a lot of the articles I'm reading are on this forum so I've signed up.
from a previous post I read I can see that the 360 requires a powered bass cab. I would like to keep things relatively small for now ( practicing in small rooms and not gigging big venues at the moment ) so could someone pint me in the right direction for a cab?
would using a 2x10 cab be sacrilege?? would I still get the desired 360 sound from it at all?
this will be my first bass amp that isn't a combo, so anything you have to say will be appreciated.

dont hate on my for not going big, I do plan on one day pairing the 360 with its partner in crime.

There is nothing wrong with a 2x10. Problem is that you need a power amp to drive that speaker. You are buying a preamp that is used to drive a power amp.

Edit: I forgot, welcome to the ranks of TalkBass. :)

Thanks for the welcome!

Can I not just use a powered cab instead of a separate power amp? just trying to minimise the amount of individuals in the setup and also would like to not have to buy more things.

Do any of your current combo amps have a "power amp in" jack on the back? You could always run the 360 into the Power Amp In - bypassing the preamp/tone stack on your combo and just using the power amp and speaker from the combo with the 360 preamp.
