I am finally going to accept that this bass would just sit in it's case, in the closet, for 99% of the time that I own it. I purchased this bass back in March 2016 from the original owner, who went to hand pick the facings for the bass at Wal Headquarters in person. They truly are the most spectacular American Walnut facings that I have ever seen. It also features a gorgeous rosewood fret board. The original owner sold it to me in absolutely dead mint condition and I have played on it for less than 10 hours total. I eally don't want to be the one who gets the first mark on it and I am tired of having that fear when on the rare occasions that I did get it out to play on it. The bass was made by Paul Herman.
This is simply the best sounding and playing Wal that I have ever owned. Paul makes "perfect" basses in my opinion. It's as simple as that.
The first thing I noticed when I first plugged this bass in was that it seemed to play itself, with minimal effort on my part. Definitely a dream bass and a lifetime keeper for someone that plays a 4 string bass. I play a six string Mk3...
Bass weighs 10.4 lbs on the bathroom scale. Average for a Wal bass.
Only thing that I would note that is "wrong" with it is a few very light scuffs on the outside of the Wal case.
Price includes shipping and insurance anywhere in the United States.
No PayPal accepted... Preferably a bank transfer.
The asking price is certainly cheaper than the price to have one built by Wal and there is no 2 year wait...
Any questions please feel free to ask.
