10" woofer, 4" midrange and a 1" tweeter.
28lbs and amazingly full range. This will easily handle a low b. It shakes my living room. It's great for semi acoustic jam sessions, Jazz and singer song writer type gigs. I used it to practice reggae and it is plenty deep. -6db at 31Hz.

Not the loudest or most trendy hipster cab today, but...

'Simply put: one of the finest sounding, incredibly deep and smooth, all around high fidelity US made cabinets you will ever play through. I have used a pair for hundreds of jazz gigs on upright, it works incredible for acoustic guitar, excellent as a small PA speaker, surprisingly well with my Les Paul and pedalboard, and when not on the gig they rock the workshop stereo all day long playing tunes.......

I’ve been looking for a 4 ohm version of this. I’ll only ever use it stand alone... perhaps someone can convince me there’s no advantage to going with 4 ohms vs. 8?

Edit: turns out there’s a 4 ohm version listed here too. Still interested!

It depends on your amp. Power is cheap these days. 8 ohms gives you more options down the road if you change your mind.

I’ll be using my trusty old Eden WTX-500 (my backup head). Plenty of juice to drive this 110 I reckon! On another note, the other 4 ohm listed is series 2... I’d much rather get into a series 3.

WTX-500 is 500 watts at 4 ohms. I would assume its 250 at 8 ohms so that would be a good match to this cab

You can also plug a mixer into the aux in on the WTX-500 and use this to drive the B1 as a PA cabinet, while also using the regular controls on your head to drive the B1 with your bass. I do this and it sounds really good. Its great for small jams with friends.
