Acoustic 115 cab buzzing?

I just purchased the B115 with the b200H head, set it to the 'classic bass sound' setting provided in the manual, and I'm getting some buzzing. The volume is at a moderate level and I've tried a couple of basses yet the buzz rears its head on certain notes, mostly mid range. It's sounds as if it's coming from the top left face of the cab, plus there's a rattle on the output panel on the back, which is kind of expected. Has anyone experienced this or been able to correct it?

Have you snugged any screws on the cab?

If the grill is removable, does the buzzing persist when it's removed?

Have you tried the cab in a different room to hear if the buzzing is actually coming from the cab?

Have you tried the cab without the head placed on top?

Palaskowitz,

I am the product manager for Acoustic.

The buzz issue from the front of the cab is not an issue that I have run accross before. I know that I have run in to situations where something in the room is vibrating and it sound like it is coming from the cab. If you are able to I suggest that you compare with a different unit in the store. If it turns out that the cab is buzzing due to some structual problem, I suggest that you exchange it for a fresh unit at the store. This should not be a problem at the store.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I tried everything to locate the buzzing but couldn't pin point it. I wound up calling GC and took it back. They replaced it and the second one has worked perfectly.
