Acoustic 200 (h)

Thinking about popping in to GC after work to pick up the Acoustic B200 combo...

But, I have an Ampeg 410he, so would it be more advisable to get the Acoustic head, and then their 15 cab? Except then if I want to play just the 15, I'm only hitting 8 ohms...

I am playing at a rehearsal studio tonight, so I could pick up the combo and test it out, if I don't like it, exchange for the head/cab option. Any of you Acoustic 200 users want to chime in.

Also, if I go head route, I can use 2 of their 15 cabinets...Oh what to do!!!

(As if that weren't enough, I've also been eyeing Aguilars db112 in the tweed)

I tried the 100 and 200 seriies for sentimental reasons.

These are pretty decent amps for ridiculously low prices. I would consider buying one for college stage bands. Time will tell how sturdy they are.

I was in GC the other day picking up some cables and sat down and played one. I thumped away and over powered the idiot with the treble on the Ampeg SVT CL cranked. I liked the thump and feel of the 15 speaker (I play a P Bass strung with flats).

There's also a scratch and dent Ampeg SVT AV 810 cab on MF for 780!!!!! I don't even need a cab that big, but the way that thing looks, I can just feel it already...YIKES. I have some major GAS going on.
