Does anyone in this group have an Acoustic Bass amp? I ask because that is one company I am considering. The problem is that they have given exclusive selling rights to Guitar Center and Musician's friend. My gut feeling is to go with an amp that is sold by a number of stores, like Fender and Ampeg. I have an acoustic guitar amp and it sounds amazing and I am sure their bass amp will be the same. It just bothers me that a single amp manufacture is in bed with one store..

Acoustic Bass Amps

Um the newer "Acoustic" is an imported house brand built for only Bain Capital (GC, MF and friends). They own the Acoustic brand name. There also exists a separate company "Acoustic USA" that revives more of the old (and long gone since the '80s) Acoustic Control Group.
This is not to be confused with a brand like MarkBass (exclusive USA distribution by Bain group) that actually exists as it's own product line and company in other countries.
