Double Bass Acoustic Image amp repair

We’ll, that’s sort of the thing for some of us, it’s a hard amp to REPLACE. The S4+ has the best sound with my mic of anything I’ve played through, even using the EDB-2 with the Woods (which is non functioning now). So having it cost more to repair than buying another class D that doesn’t have the features or the sound isn’t really a deal breaker…

Ed, don’t blame them. I properly f’d up this amp by being stupid and wiring my own janky speakon adapters. I think normal stuff will be well within their wheelhouse.

Oh, no blame at all! Just trying to make the point that, for some of us, replacement price isn’t the driving issue…

Very interested to see what the Fuchs bass amps is like - any idea on release date for the first batch? Website says summer, 95 degrees here today does that qualify?

is it possible that I might have schematics for the CORUS III series? I just bought an amp not knowing that Rick had passed away. Ths Class D amplifier, BTW, is an IcePower amplifier available for around $150.00USD. thanks -hjp

I just repaired my AI Clarus - by doing a transplant of the Icepower module (as mentioned above, for about USD150). Initially, it seemed a daunting task, but actually it's quite straightforward. Just carefully take note of all the connections you undo - then work backwards as you reconnect the new module. It's working fine now.
