Double Bass Acoustic image service = A+

Just thought I would past along my recent experience with AI.
Due to my own negligence ...I busted out the input jack on my clarus II amp. I opened it up and could see quickly it was nothing I could fix...jack is part of the circuit board etc.
I called AI..got through on first call. Explained to Ric?,what happened and if he could give me idea what the repair might cost.
he told me there would be no charge,,,due to some no fault guarantee / warranty or something. So I said great and sent the amp out. They received it late Monday and I received it back early Friday afternoon .They also included a new carry bag with it!
Did I mention that I have had this amp 5-6 years or so....That is what I would call exceptional service!!!

AI's customer service, it seems, transcends national boundaries. When I bought my Clarus two years ago the mains switch let out a 'fizz' when the amp was turned off, indicating that the contacts were not disengaging cleanly. This condition could eventually lead to contact burn-out. Last week I emailed Overwater, the UK distributor, and told them of my problem. So in the post today I received not a new switch but the whole damn chassis. This is in effect the whole amp, less the casing and front panel. Apart from being able to see in detail the great workmanship of the pcb and all its bits I have a new amp to connect to the panel and put in the case.

Great service!

me too... i thought my used focus 2r had a blown channel 2.
ric emailed me immediately with the fix..............push in the select button.
their products are so amazing flexible you really do need to read the ownrs manual to get the full use.
i have been using their products since his first amp.
great company.

I remember when I fried out my Focus amp doing something stupid. I insisted I that I pay for the repair. Rick said not to worry and he had it back to me in a few days no charge. I couldn't believe it. That was 5 years ago and the amp still runs like a tank.

Can you imagine what our society would be like today if people in general stood behind their work like that and designed goods that would last that long?
