Seems like e string has less volume then a or the rest. I have raised pickup as close as I could no change new battery I'm thinking of getting new neck pickups? Bridge pickup seems fine . Replace with emgs ? This is a guild pilot 101300 thanks for any help bcclew
Only check this with new strings, played-in strings will lie to you.
With new strings, set the string to pick up gap to the same distance for all four strings with a small ruler and see where you're at. If active, be sure your 9v is good.
A 'more dead than the others' string/pickup issue could have several reasons, none of which we can see over the internet. But I'd start with the two steps above.
