Active EQ question

I have a shecter 5 string with EMG-HZ pickups in it with an active EQ I also have an older Dean edge 4 that has the same pickups, but is passive, my question is is there an active EQ that I can add to the Dean,

any help or info would be greatly appreciated

thanx

Almost any active EQ would probably work--have a look at someplace like http://www.bestbassgear.com (Bass Preamps section) to get a sample of some of what's out there. You'll want to look in the control cavity to see how much extra room you have for the preamp and battery. Also, decide whether you want a 2- or a 3-band (or more!) EQ, and consider whether you're willing to drill holes for additional controls if necessary.
