AB on his custom ATK model: Ill have birds-eye maple wood on the neck. The neck woods going to make all the difference as far as fluidity and clarity. I think its going to be neck-thru, not a bolt-on. Its going to be 35 scale and I think its going to have Bartolinis, even the triple pickup
The Ibanez pickups sound great, but I think the Bartolinis will give me just a little more push. I only usually play active basses. I own a 69 P-Bass, but I pretty much just stick with the Ibanez. Im a heavier tone player so I need the active pickups.
