I have a vintage Tel-Ray/Morley Power Wah Boost, and am wondering how to add two LEDs to this pedal (keep in mind it runs off of 120v from the wall, NOT a 9v battery). The LEDs are for Wah and Boost on/off status. I'm just wondering what types of LEDs I will need, along with any resistors, and possibly an image of how to wire it up. Thanks!

I got your pm. I wish i could help more. I replaced the switches with i think 4pdt, powered the leds with a 9v jack and it worked like a charm. Just swap in the switches, match everything to the was the original switches were laid out, and then i wired the leds using some diagrams i found online for wiring an indicator led into a crybaby (used their suggestions for resistor values too).

I also added a momentary true bypass switch which is mounted on the treadle, and also works great.

Thanks, I was actually thinking of just adding a 9v DC jack (powered by Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus) and doing it that way, considering I can't find anything on (safely) tapping into the 120v supply from the wall to power the LEDs. I DID actually install an IEC power jack on the side so that it's wired for 3-prong cords, a feature that I wanted in order to more easily swap pedals out on the road if one goes bad. Check it out:

I discovered I can leave the stock DPDT switches and still wire up LEDs (I'm using special 9-12v LEDs that have the resistors built in, so I don't have to purchase separate resistors). I'm eventually going to be running it in a loop, so I'm not worried about doing a true-bypass mod to it anymore.

Thanks for the tips!

Hey man, so this one is quite late, but from what ive read, youve managed to install the leds to the pedal, do you have a picture of that?
