Ads Above The Quick Reply Box?

Just wondering if this was a momentary or permanent thing- they're terribly annoying to those who are legally blind and miss the reply button when clicking half of the time

To be quite honest, I never noticed them until you mentioned them. I must not pay attention to details very well.
