Advice on a new amp!!! Help!

Okay, so I am in the market for a new amp(sort of). I am looking for an SVT II-Non Pro, so I looking for some opinions on the difference between this and the V4. The V4 I've wanted for quite sometime, but recently, I've been wanting some more headroom. I've come to the almighty TalkBass for some firm knowledge. I will also be using this for Pop Punk, Post Metal/Rock, Rock and maybe some Metal. :bassist:

The V4 is 100-120 watts, the output impedance is switchable 8,4 and 2 IIRC. The SVT II non-pro 280-300 watts switchable from 4 and 2 ohms only IIRC. Sound is subjective and either amp could be adjusted to suit. The Increase in power of the SVT II would better suit your needs.

I thought that may be the case. I am also picking up a used Aguilar DB 8x10 as soon as I can sell a few things(non musical). I am really excited about everything but the weight :help:

I guess I could always suck it up, and take one for the team...oops I meant tone.

Do you know of the subtle differences between the Blueline SVT and the SVT II?
