Decided that I will give guitar playing a more serious try, and wonder what recommendations you have.
I have noticed that, when I pickup an electric guitar, a regular Stratocaster neck feels too narrow and "crowded". A nylon string acoustic feels nice, but that is not the instrument I want to play.
I have looked at ie. Epiphone Wildkat (42.7mm nut), which felt OK, but it was very thin front to back. The guitar felt clunky to me, with its Bigsby, large P90s etc. I think I would prefer a sleeker design, like a Tele, Strat or SG?
So, is there a cheap model with mainly wide, but also not too thin neck, and that works OK for standing and sitting? Cheap means Squier Bullet/Affinity, Harley Benton, Epiphone. Classic Vibe is about double I am willing to pay.
I am in Sweden, and second hand market is spotty, very limited and expensive, and it is expensive to drive to look at things.
Thanks in advance!
