Hello TBer's. I don't post much but I read a lot...grateful for so much of the input on here!
I can usually find some great info when researching (and I am a heavy researcher) for a possible purchase. I am struggling to find some consistent information for Warwick. I've always appreciated Warwick basses...even before I started playing, but don't own one yet. I recently found a German 2007 Corvette $$ 4 string in the nirvana black. I picked it up and played and it just felt good! I started researching to see if it was a decent deal and just ran into a bunch of confusion. They are asking $944 (plus I'll have to pay about 9% in tax).
1) Is this a fair price? If not, what is? I've checked Reverb and people are asking from about $1000-$1400 for this bass, which makes it seem like a decent deal. But some of the posts on here (they have all been older posts), would suggest that is high. I'm just finding it difficult to get a feel for the market on these.
2) Like I said, the bass felt great...but again, I'm not familiar with Warwick or their shortcomings. Is there anything in particular I should check before purchasing? Any warnings or things to consider?
Feel free to add any other info that may be helpful for Warwick newbie! Thank you guys in advance!
