Advice please - transporting Peavey amp

i dont want any storage in it, just to hold the amp
W 19"
D 13"
H 3.5"
ill check out SKB, but im in the UK so MF no good to me.
do these off the shelf racks just fix the amp to the front? what holds it in the place inside does it bolt to the side as well?

I bought all my SKB cases used - either from music stores or craigslist... The rack's front rails bolt up to the amp's rack ears - which is a connection system that's plenty secure...

Thanks for all your replies. Looked at the skb cases in 2u, problem is they seem to be too shallow or too deep which is a shame. They seen to be 10.5 or 21 deep I want around 14 inches deep. Looks like the gator GR-2S might be the best option.

The Gator is fine. I've been using them for years. The "Shallow" series are perfect for my G-K amps and I've never had a rattle problem with the latches. Even if you do, you can mute 'em with tape or something else.

I have the Tour 700 head myself. I bought an inexpensive 24" rubbermaid tote. I wrap the head in a bath towel, stick it in the tote, toss the lid on it, carry it away. Packs nicely in the van. Rack cases are nice, but just ads to the weight of the head.

While I applaud StereoPlayer's work and I deeply respect GreenBoy's opinions, my fear with amp sleeves of this type is that they offer no protection for the amps vulnerable front panel. It's so easy to break off a knob or slider during transport.

Thanks for the kind words, Paul. I do also, respect your opinions. In the 40++ years of playing, I have never broken any knobs or sliders....I'm just kinda easy on my stuff.
BUT...it could happen!:hmm:

Is it ok to take the front feet off of the bottom of the Tour 450 to make it fit? There's plenty of spaces in the rack but I'm wanting to put it in the bottom space...that way the back feet on the amp would be setting on the case, taking some of the stress off the front of the mounting screws on front of the amp and case.
Also, it seems that the feet are stuck to the bottom of the amp along with the screws. Do you know if the screws are just holding the feet on or are they attached to other parts in the amp? Thanks for any help.
