Hey guys, I did a couple of searches and turned up threads with suggestions but nothing conclusive. I was researching adding a preamp to my Aerodyne jazz bass and wanted to see if there were any definitive answers about a drop in replacement, or which ones would fit if a battery box were also routed.
What I've found out so far
Audere may make a drop in replacement but they can't guarantee it.
John East's Jtone may fit but it might require a separate battery box
Sadowsky 3 Knob may fit but might require a separate battery box.
I'm mainly seeing if there's anyone on the board here who has done the mod and what kind of routing was needed to make everything fit. Thanks!
