Age gaps?

These threads from high schoolers are really throwing me.

Playing in rock bands back in the 60s when I was in high school was a lot of fun. My band won 1st place in one of those battle of the bands thing.

However , at 58 it's hard for me to comment or make suggestions.

I think today's young musicians have to be a lot smarter about things, if you taking the whole band thing seriously.

I think age is less of an issue now.

I'm 15+ years older than the other members in my band. I am pushing (a young) 40 and they are mid and early 20's. We have no problems.
