Aged F-bass IV

This is the best fretted IV string I have played. Looks a bit old and tired, has been played for many hours (check out the pick-up covers and f-board!) but sounds as fresh as a button. Lovely tone

I love the look of it. It's an F-Bass! Worth a lifetime of use, IMO.

I think some of those boutique basses look better worn in like that,
just check out Vic Wooten's '83 Fodera and Doug Wimbish's '88 Spector.

Send it back to Fbass for a refin and a fret job. The only thing lots of playing wear tells you is that people liked this bass enough to play the snot out of it
