aggie DB cab Question

Greetings JMJ..

I know you use/endorse the aguilar DB's..I think I read you like the 112/115 for small gigs. Knowing there is a bit of a mid forward tone to these cabs(i likey)..do you ever dial out any mids to even out the cabs? If so how are you dialing it so it is more flat for those situations that call for it to be not so mid in yo face stuff?

I have a db112 with the tweet almost off and it can definitely get a bit mid honky if you bump eq in the mids up too much..IMO..though I love me some mids...a few tunes we do call for big booty and fewer mids/highs..

Thanks and happy end of the year to you and yours...

I don't dial out the mids, no. Works fine for me, anyway, it's a very pleasing tone. But: I do give the amp a little high bump and little low bump, which then does naturally tuck the mids back. Just talking about a db or two of each, max.
