YES!! Sort of. Since selling it was my main goal and I had an offer from a cat out on the west coast, it made more sense to have (THE AWESOME) Waterpilot ship it to the new owner.

I really like my new Electro Harmonix Enigma: Q Balls a ton! It is extremely tweakable, like as much as a PC plugin, and has a switchable fuzz in addition. It's great, not that pricey, solidly built, and I was able to very easily mod mine to have an additional master volume pot on the side that only affects the effect out, leaving true bypass intact. You should check one out!

100% agree with this post! I had the distortion pot modded to the outside on mine. VERY handy! The Qballs can get as aggressive or as mellow as you want it to be.

I like mine, but I find that setting it up just right can be a bit of a chore. Also, it started acting up (randomly not responding for a few seconds after being activated, and then working again) a few months ago, so I boxed it. I'll try and see if it's back to normal sometime in the future, and if it's not, I might have to send it out for repairs (which would be kind of a logistical nightmare, since I'm in Brazil). Meanwhile, I've adopted the Xerograph Deluxe as my go-to LPF. It doesn't have as many options as the Qballs, but it's consistently awesome-sounding.

I am tired of wimpy, whimsical envelope filters. I had a DOD FX25, which I could get a good fat response from when I dug in to my bass, but it killed the low end and was a bit hard to manage. I have an older model Qtron and I can only coax the funk out of it when I play ever so gingerly. When I dig in the mix is 80% bass, 10% filter, 10% me sobbing in frustration. Help me out here, do I need a blend knob or do I just need to do sone tweaking?
