Aguilar 4j-60/70 & 4j-HC's

Hi everybody, sorry if this has been raised already; have had a decent browse and didn't find anything.

Because I'm against the idea of having any money to my name, I was thinking some aguilar pickups could be a nice addition to my Fender Japan Fretless Jazz Bass.
Options were originally limited to either the 4j-60s or the 4j-70's (as you might guess from the title), but while in my local store I stumbled across the Hum-Canceller's, which I'm thinking might be a good option (I like to solo the bridge pickup, don't think anybody's done that with a fretless before).

So my question is twofold: can anybody describe the types of tone I'll be getting with the 60's and/or 70's, or better yet, has anyone tried either of them on a fretless? Also, are these pickups noise-cancelling? I haven't found anything to suggest they might be, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Part 2: What kind of tone should I expect from the HC's, and is the hum-cancelling actually that effective?

I have a pair of Aguilar 4J 60 HC Jazz pickups. To answer both Questions:
Yes they are dead quiet

They are Vintage sounding and sound very close to their single coil pickup but without any noise whatsoever. I have used SD classic stacks, Fender Noiseless and Lyndy Fralin noisess. Fralins are very good but not as vintage sounding ad I had hoped. I will not let these go

Not as hot as many modern pickups. Lends a sweeter tone. Decent lows, nice mids and smooth sweet highs. More balanced. Excellent String to String balance. I adjusted my down low and then raised them a little at a time until Until I got the tone I wanted. The height is dependent on the type string you are using. The matched pair work well with each other as they do not affect the other negatively when volume levels are at full on position.

I guess you have tried listening to any youtube videos about the Aguilar 70's pickups, right?
